Repetto wins 3rd place in BigLots2Give -
A HUGE thank you to all those who voted in the recent contest!  Our school received enough votes to win $2,600 plus a share in local donations. 
Repetto Student Artwork Honored - 
Congratulations to Armen D. whose artwork was chosen as the cover for the June 2013 issue of Jack and Jill magazine.  His photo and mini-biography will also be featured. Armen's talent won $1,500 for Repetto School to use for art education.

  • Edible Garden - Through generous funding and support from the Monterey Park Rotary, along with  45 + students, parents, staff and community members we have an edible raised bed garden of vegetables and herbs, including trellises and a drip irrigation system. 
  • New Playground Structures -   Students began using them the week before spring break. 
  • Recess Play Equipment - Thank YOU PTA for providing new playground equipment for recess.  Each classroom received 2 items (basketballs, jump ropes, hoola hoops, etc.)
  • Radio piece on Animal Rescue Rig features interview with Repetto 6th grade student.

Handprint Mural -through the generosity of Spark Afterschool Academy, all students helped create a handprint mural of a roadrunner on the side of the L-building on Wednesday, April 3rd.  A huge thank you to all the parent and student volunteers that helped make this event run smoothly!

Thousand Crane Peace Project

  • Thousand Crane Peace Project Finds Nesting Place - The mobiles of a thousand cranes, made by students at Repetto and Mark Keppel in support of the Sandy Hook Elementary School, has been placed in the Newtown Healing Arts Space Center created following the December tragedy.
